Jimmy de la Mar is a German artist, DJ, producer, and songwriter with more than 30 years of experience in the music industry.
His musical journey began in the 1980s as guitarist of the band Glenn Copulation, whose 1985 single Nuklear Party gained national recognition. After the band disbanded, he continued his career as a DJ before co-founding JGM Production, where he wrote and produced music for numerous artists, achieving multiple chart successes on the early MP3 platforms.
In 2014, Jimmy de la Mar released his first self-written and self-produced single, Deep Love, marking the beginning of his international solo career.
Today, Jimmy de la Mar is recognized for a concept that defines his artistic identity: every release begins with an original song and often continues with an exclusive dancefloor remix. Rather than being limited to a single genre, his music combines memorable melodies, soulful vocals, and modern production across R&B, Funk & Soul, Afro House, House, EDM, and contemporary dance music.
